Delete user groups
You can delete user groups from an organization in 10Duke SysAdmin.
When you delete a user group, the users in the group lose access to the licenses that the group was authorized to consume and any seat reservations made for the users are released (unless the users belong to another user group that allows them access to the same licenses).
Deleting a user group doesn’t delete the users in the group.
Instead of deleting a user group, you also have the option of removing the group’s authorization to consume licenses.
Limitations:
- You cannot delete the user group of type “employees”.
To delete user groups from an organization:
-
In SysAdmin in the left sidebar, go to IDENTITY > Organizations.
-
In the organization table, select the organization and select Actions > Manage user groups.
The organization’s user group table opens.
-
Select the groups you want to delete and select Actions > Delete group(s).
-
Click OK to confirm the deletion.
If a user is currently consuming an organization license they no longer have access to, they are able to continue consuming the license until the license lease expires or the client application tries to refresh the lease, whichever comes first.
